Dave - Top Blues Player 2022

David plays below and says: 

"I’m just emailing you to thank you for all of help and support over the past year. 

It doesn’t seem that long ago that you interviewed me and I was proudly showing you my “Swan” harmonica. 

At the time I had no idea how to play and was amazed to find that the draw notes were a serious part of the instrument and not just what happened when you sucked instead of blowing. 

I felt deeply honoured when at the open mike, after patiently listening to my tune  you stated that I could add the harmonica to the list of instrument that I can actually play – a proud moment for me.

I am quite pleased with my progress and hope to move into a more bluesey style over my second year, now that I’m starting take 2 .

I have sent two uploaded 2 videos of “Summertime” to celebrate my 12 month anniversary featuring my painful attempt and draw bending.

Once again, thank you for your help, encouragement, and direction.

Hopefully I may see you at the Festival."
